Its ability to handle 4K footage is a huge asset, as is the ability to edit and export in a 1:1 format - perfect for Instagram. We see this program as being perfect for families looking to edit together end-of-year recaps for the holidays or footage documenting milestones-think of all the unwatched videos from such events sitting in your camera roll. Still, PowerDirector’s UI is very intuitive for new users. And maneuvering through the timeline to make precision edits-like cutting to the beat of a song-can be a little tricky.

Like many of PowerDirector’s other features it's really a matter of dragging and dropping and then applying customizations.
